Rotary Airlock Valves

Rotary airlock valves are valves that handle and meter the flow of granular bulk or powders. Material is fed into the valve via a hopper/Silo/Filter/ESP or other inlets, handled through the valve rotor, and then deposited onto a Process system in discrete packets, all with minimal pressure loss. They are most often used for Discharge/Pneumatic Conveying etc to minimize the loss of pressure across the valve, but rotary valves are also used to meter materials at a controlled feed rate. They exclusively work in air systems and function as airlocks, explosion/flame barriers, and process isolators, among take care of many other tasks. They can move dry to slightly sticky products, and find many applications in chemical ,food, pharmaceutical, plastic, Steel, Cement and other manufacturing sectors.

This valves are designed as per the nature of application . Stratgem has developed special valves for Pneumatic transport wherein medium to high pressure difference is a necessity. The Valves are tested for bare minimum clearance between the rotor and casing.
